In the heart of our commitment to the spiritual growth and development of our communities, the Apostolic Western Orthodox Church is proud to announce the establishment of the Saint Jude Theological Institute and Seminary. Our vision for this institute is deeply rooted in the belief that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey, extending far beyond the confines of mere confirmation. We cherish the wisdom of both sacred scriptures and sacred tradition, echoing the sentiment of 2 Thessalonians 2:15, which urges us to “stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.”
Our institute stands as a beacon of authentic orthodoxy, a sanctuary where the flame of faith is nurtured through a balanced understanding of scripture and tradition. We recognize the potential pitfalls of exclusively relying on scripture interpretation and seek to provide a comprehensive theological education.
At the Saint Jude Theological Institute and Seminary, we are embarking on a sacred mission, centered on four core areas of study designed to empower individuals in their spiritual journey:
- Youth and Young Adult Foundational Catechism
- Ongoing Adult Education
- Comprehensive Preparation for Holy Orders
- Spiritual Formation uniquely tailored for contemplative orders, including the AWOC Order of Carmelites.
