Welcome to Bishop Michael’s Blog:

A Beacon of Immutable Truth in a Changing World

Greetings in Christ to all seekers, believers, and anyone on a spiritual journey toward Authentic Christian Faith. I am Bishop Michael Callahan, the Presiding Bishop for the Apostolic Western Orthodox Church, and I welcome you warmly to my blog. The purpose of this platform is to offer catechetical teaching moments that illuminate the path to a deep-rooted and genuine relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

In a world often plagued by false teachings and theological errors, this blog aims to serve as a sanctuary of clarity and truth. “Test everything; hold fast what is good,” Apostle Paul admonishes us in 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Regrettably, we find various strands of erroneous doctrines not only in some Protestant circles but also in the largest Catholic jurisdiction. The prevailing notion in some quarters is that Doctrine can evolve and adapt over time, often leading many astray.

We stand steadfast in our belief that the Ancient Truths of Christianity are immutable, as Jesus Christ Himself tells us, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). These are not mere teachings of men but reflections of Divine Truth passed down through Apostolic Tradition.

In the words of St. Vincent of Lérins, “Let us hold what has been believed everywhere, always, and by all, for that is truly and properly Catholic.” We aim to faithfully represent Gospel truths in alignment with the enduring witness of the Ancient Faith Apostolic Tradition. This is not an exercise in judgment but an endeavor to bring all into the “unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God” (Ephesians 4:13).

I welcome you all to engage, to seek, and to find here. Let us journey together towards a fuller understanding of the Immutable Truths that lead us closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Christ’s Love and Peace,
